Documents Required to Join AttachXpress
Complete this checklist before registering. Having all documents ready means you can start earning within 24 hours of applying.
Driving Licence
MandatoryValid, non-expired driving licence issued by RTO. Must be a permanent licence — not a learner's licence.
- Check expiry date — renew at RTO if expired
- Commercial vehicle endorsement required for some vehicle types
- Both old and smart card format accepted
- DigiLocker copy accepted for verification
Aadhaar Card
MandatoryOriginal Aadhaar card for identity verification. Name on Aadhaar must match all other documents exactly.
- Original + photocopy both required
- Name must match PAN card exactly — even spelling
- DigiLocker or mAadhaar app copy accepted
- Masked Aadhaar (last 4 digits visible) is acceptable
PAN Card
MandatoryPAN card is required for weekly payment processing and tax compliance. Without PAN, payments cannot be processed.
- Apply online at incometax.gov.in if you don't have one
- PAN is issued within 15 working days of application
- Name must match Aadhaar exactly
- e-PAN (digital) is accepted
Vehicle RC Book
MandatoryRegistration Certificate of your vehicle. Must be in your name. If vehicle is on loan, NOC from financier is required.
- RC must be in your name — not spouse or parent
- If financed, get NOC letter from your bank/NBFC
- Check RC validity date — renew if expired
- RC must match vehicle being used
Vehicle Insurance
MandatoryValid comprehensive vehicle insurance. Third-party only insurance is not sufficient for commercial use.
- Comprehensive insurance strongly recommended
- Check expiry — renew online in under 30 minutes
- Policy must cover commercial/taxi use if applicable
- Policybazaar, Acko, HDFC Ergo — quick online renewal
Fitness Certificate
If vehicle is 3+ years oldVehicles older than 3 years require a fitness certificate from RTO confirming roadworthiness.
- Required for vehicles over 3 years from manufacture date
- Issued by RTO after vehicle inspection
- Valid for 1–2 years depending on vehicle age
- Book appointment at your nearest RTO
PUC Certificate
RecommendedPollution Under Control certificate confirming your vehicle meets emission standards.
- Available at any petrol pump with PUC testing
- Costs ₹60–₹100 and takes 10 minutes
- Valid for 6 months to 1 year
- Mandatory by law — all vehicles need it
Passport Size Photos
Recommended2 recent passport-size photographs of the driver for your AttachXpress profile and ID card.
- Recent photograph — within last 6 months
- White or light background preferred
- Can be taken at any photo studio for ₹30–₹50
- Digital photo on WhatsApp also accepted
Common Document Questions
Can I submit documents digitally?
Yes. You can share all documents via WhatsApp with our local team. Physical copies are only needed for vehicle inspection — our team comes to you.
What if my RC is not in my name?
If the vehicle is financed, get a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your bank or NBFC. If the vehicle belongs to a family member, a signed authorization letter is required.
My driving licence is expired — can I still apply?
No. A valid, non-expired driving licence is mandatory. Visit your nearest RTO to renew. Renewal typically takes 7–15 working days.
Do I need a commercial licence?
For most passenger vehicles (hatchback, sedan, SUV under 7 seats), a standard private driving licence is sufficient in Maharashtra. Our team will guide you based on your specific vehicle.
